The CL Scale National Championships was held on June 19, 2021. Burt Brokaw won the Grand Champion award and several other classes. The event had to be shortened due to poor weather conditions, but pilots still competed in two rounds. Steve Ashby, Ron Sears, Chris Brownhill, and Pete Klepsic were inducted into the CL Scale Hall of Fame.

The National Aerobatic Scale (Nats) contest took place on June 18, 2021, with static judging followed by flying rounds. Despite technical challenges and electronic issues, pilots were able to complete two rounds before the event ended for the day. The competition is expected to be tight, with only a small margin between first and third places.

RC Scale Aerobatics Competition Update The IMAC Nats continued on June 18, 2021, with sunshine and light wind. The day started with a round of Unknowns, followed by three rounds of Knowns. Freestyle was also flown to thrill the crowd. Flight footprint issues led to the decision to remove roller maneuvers for Friday and Saturday's competition.
