Contestants experienced cool temperatures, light winds, and fog at the July 8, 2025, Control Line Precision Aerobatics competition. Weather conditions affected flight patterns, with wind direction changes causing challenges. One pilot made an error by flying too low, while Don Jenkins received the Concours award for best-looking airplane.

Today's competition included AMA/FAI rounds, Scale flying, and static judging. Finals for F3C and F3N yielded high-scoring maneuvers. Pilots excelled in both classes, with the Sportsman class showing great skills. Processing is ongoing, with completion expected by Tuesday afternoon.

The first day of Control-line Speed events on July 7, 2025, featured ½A Proto and ½A Speed competitions with varying flight requirements. Bill Hughes won 1st place at ½A Speed with a speed of 123.09 mph in his restored 1995 plane. Glen Van Sant took 1st place at ½A Proto Speed with a speed of 97.57 mph, followed by Patrick Hemple and James Van Sant.

Aimee Olson & Anna Minor competed in the most interesting match of the day.

The July 7, 2025 F2D combat event concluded with two female pilots Anna Minor and Aimee Olson having a re-fly due to even scores, while the US team, including Austin Minor, flew stellar matches. Disqualifications occurred but tempers cooled down, emphasizing the fun nature of combat, with sponsor Randy Ritch's Brew fuel receiving praise for its high quality.

Control Line Precision Aerobatics events were held on July 6, 2025, with two entrants in Beginner and seven in Intermediate. Conditions were challenging due to wind, but contestants persevered, including a 10-year-old competitor who flew an electric plane despite the elements. Jim Mynes won the Intermediate competition.
